MONROE, CT — The First Selectman’s Office released the following holiday schedule for the observance of Christmas and New Year’s:
- Town Hall Offices, Senior Center and Edith Wheeler Memorial Library will be closed Friday, December 24, 2021, through (and including) Monday, December 27, 2021. These offices will reopen on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
- The Highway Division will be closed Friday, December 24, 2021, and will reopen on Monday, December 27, 2021.
- All Town Hall Offices, Senior Center, Edith Wheeler Memorial Library and Highway Division will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021, and will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022.
- The Spring Hill Road Transfer Station will be closing at 11:45AM, Friday, December 24, 2021 and will be closed Saturday, December 25, 2021. The Transfer Station will be open with regular hours on Friday, December 31, 2021.
- Garder Road Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and Friday, December 31, 2021.
- There are no changes to the recycling pickup schedule during this time.
