Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gaetano Marra Homes adds new locations in Stamford, Greenwich!

Meet the BHGRE Gaetano Marra Homes' team. The real estate brokerage is headquartered at 588 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — In a major development for the regional and Connecticut real estate market, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gaetano Marra Homes announced both a strategic partnership and the opening of two additional offices in lower Fairfield County, further strengthening the company’s footprint across Southwestern Connecticut. Its leadership says the new locations in Stamford and Greenwich will position the brokerage closer to some of the most active housing markets in the state, while supporting continued growth across the region.

At the same time, the company entered into a major partnership with Jason Kinard of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Shore & Country Properties. The agreement merges Kinard’s brokerage with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gaetano Marra Homes, led by broker-owner Gaetano Marra, creating a combined network of more than 275 agents under the global Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand.

Kinard described the partnership as a transformative step for both organizations.

“I’m thrilled to announce an exciting partnership and merger that will elevate our company to new heights,” Kinard said in a statement announcing the move. “This merger positions us for even greater success, while preserving what makes our teams special.”

“The time is now,” said Marra. “With many competitors seeking an exit from the full service brokerage game, there has never been a better time to begin this expansion. We are and will always continue to be a full service brokerage, delivering white glove service to both agents and clients of all different socio-economic backgrounds.”

“America is all about choices, and agents having the ability to choose what the best support system is for them,” he added.  “You can buy the Timex or you can buy the Rolex. Guess which one we aspire to be?”

Expanded Market Presence

With the merger and the opening of the Stamford and Greenwich offices, the combined organization now operates across a broad geographic footprint that includes Stamford, Greenwich, Monroe, Newtown, Bridgeport, and Southbury. The expanded reach provides comprehensive coverage across Fairfield County and New Haven County, as well as into Westchester County —three highly competitive markets where housing demand continues to grow.

Key Benefits of the Merger

Company leadership outlined several advantages expected to result from the partnership: Enhanced Brand Access and Resources: Greater leverage of the national Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network, technology, and operational support.

Expanded Digital Marketing Reach: A significantly stronger social media presence driven by Marra’s established and high-impact digital marketing strategies.

Exclusive Off-Market Opportunities: Increased access to properties and listings before they reach the public market. Professional Development: Regular monthly meetings, training sessions, and collaboration opportunities designed to support agent growth and performance.

Expanded Market Dominance: A stronger regional platform capable of generating more referrals, leads, and completed transactions. Despite the merger, the Shore & Country brand will remain unchanged.

“Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Shore & Country Properties continues as is,” Kinard noted, “now with a much stronger footprint.”

National Recognition

Adding to the announcement, Marra’s offices have also earned national recognition as part of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Founders Circle Network, ranking among the top 20 performers out of nearly 500 offices nationwide within the brand.

Industry observers say that distinction reflects strong sales performance, agent productivity, and overall brokerage growth. Looking Ahead The expanded organization is expected to leverage the continued demand for housing across southwestern Connecticut and the New York metro region, where proximity to New York City remains a major driver for buyers relocating from urban markets.

Kinard said additional details about operational timelines and integration plans will be shared with agents and staff in the coming weeks, though no immediate changes to day-to-day workflows are expected.

“This is a big win we’ve all helped build,” Kinard said. “I’m genuinely excited about our future together.”
