Masuk High’s boys’ golf team improved to 11-1 this season following early October victories over New Milford and Weston.
The Panthers, led by Coach Bob Pagel, defeated New Milford 165-188 on Oct. 4. Alex Guigno, Colin Abbott and Brien Trimbach shared medalist honors, each carding a match-best 41. Justin Carriero had a 42 and John McIntyre had a 43 to round out the Masuk scoring.
Two days later, the Panthers defeated Weston 163-188. Abbott earned medalist honors with a 39. Guigno and Trimbach each had a 40, and McIntyre and Carriero both shot a 44 to help Masuk continue its winning ways.
After an Oct. 11 home match versus Immaculate, the Panthers will compete in the South-West Conference championships on Oct. 12.
