MONROE, CT — A Norwalk man was charged with second-degree breach of peace after allegedly urinating in public Sunday afternoon.
Police officers responded to a complaint at the Goodwill Store, 252 Monroe Turnpike, around 3:55 p.m. A man told them he saw a male wearing a green hat and red sneakers urinate on the wood fence, before going inside the store, coming back out and peeing in the parking lot.
The complainant told officers he saw the man’s genitalia and thought he was going to pee on his vehicle, so he called police.
Police found a man sitting on the fence, who fit the description, and arrested him, according to the report. Isais Gutierrez, 47, of Lowe St. in Norwalk, was released on a promise to appear in court on April 21.
Amazon scam
A man identifying himself as “Sam Rodgers” of Amazon called a Monroe woman to inform her someone in Arizona fraudulently used her account to purchase a $529 iPhone, before offering to help, and talking her into providing personal information over the phone.
The woman gave out both her and her husband’s Social Security numbers and their banking information, and allowed “Rodgers” to use TeamViewer software to gain remote access of her computer, police said.
“Rodgers” told the woman he was creating an online bank account for her. When he told her to purchase several gift cards from various stores, she believed it was a scam and ended the phone call.
She filed a police complaint Friday. Police said the victim had no financial loss and was advised to contact Amazon, her bank and the major credit bureaus.

DUI on Elm Street
A Turkey Roost Road man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Elm Street Saturday night.
Seth Perkins, 20, was also charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and making an improper turn. He was released on $500 bond for an April 19 court date.
At approximately 8 p.m., an officer on patrol saw a white Dodge pickup truck fail to signal before turning right onto Elm Street, police said. The officer followed the truck and initiated a traffic stop after seeing the driver’s side tires cross the double yellow center line, according to the report.
Police said the officer noticed that the driver, Perkins, had bloodshot, glassy eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Police said Perkins told the officer he had drank a couple of beers earlier.
Field sobriety tests determined Perkins was under the influence, police said.
