MONROE, Conn. — Construction tools and a $1,599 refrigerator were stolen in the burglary of a house under renovation on Wild Horse Court, according to a police report filed Wednesday.
Police said the owner sent an employee to the property to get a ladder, when he discovered forced entry had been made through a rear basement door. Shattered glass was on the ground, along with a sledge hammer, the report said.
The burglary took place sometime between Sunday and Wednesday, according to police, who are investigating the incident.
