Masuk High’s boys lacrosse team, led by Coach Derek Flynn, defeated visiting Immaculate 10-7 on Saturday, April 23, to snap a five-game losing streak and improve to 3-6.
The win was led by junior captain Kyle Beckett, with five goals and assists. Seniors Teige Quinn and Holden Adragna each had one goal, sophomores Eamon Quinn and Dylan Rakauskas had one goal each, and freshman AJ Cavanaugh had one goal.
Sophomore Dylan Rakauskas controlled the faceoffs and long stick middie senior Zach Gillen dominated the ground balls. Junior goalie Colin Deering was stellar between the pipes.
Masuk’s next test comes at home on Thursday night against Notre Dame-Fairfield at 6 p.m.
