MONROE, CT — A huge crowd stretched from Wolfe Park’s pool and stage areas all the way back to the fields by the tennis courts Saturday, as townspeople celebrated Monroe’s 200th birthday with food trucks and a concert by Ticket to Ride, a Beatles tribute band, before ending the night with a brilliant fireworks display by Blue Sky Fireworks.
