MONROE, CT — Frosty helped the Save Our Stepney Task Force with the countdown for its annual tree lighting Sunday night, but even the world’s most famous snowman needs assistance to work his magic.
Stepney volunteer firefighters placed the top hat on Frosty’s head, bringing the character to life for the big night. Then they helped him climb aboard one of their fire trucks, providing transportation on the cold night.
Veronica Condon of Monroe, a close friend of the snowman, shared photos of the legendary Christmas icon at the firehouse before his trip.
