SHELTON, CT — The Masuk High hockey team skated to an 11-3 win over Milford at The Rinks at Shelton on Jan. 31.
Nick Kondub scored five times, Luke Kondub netted a pair of goals, and Christian LaBella, Tommy DaPonte, James Cybart, and Kyle Riccitelli all lit the lamp. Maddex LaFountain picked up the win in goal.
The Panthers were coming off consecutive hard-fought 2-1 losses. They fell to Amity at West Haven’s Bennett Rink on Jan. 24. Cybart had the Masuk goal and LaFountain played great in net.
Masuk was back home in Shelton on Jan. 27 and lost to the Joel Barlow co-op in overtime Nick Kondub had the lone Panther goal.
Masuk is in action this Wednesday, Feb. 7, when Watertown-Pomperaug comes to Shelton at 8 p.m. The Panthers visit the Newtown-New Fairfield co-op, at Danbury Ice Arena, Friday, Feb. 9, at 8:30 p.m.
