What do you like most about teaching?
I enjoy watching students discover that they can do math and watching them challenge themselves as problem solvers. As a teacher we are there to educate the students on our content, but also to provide supports to allow students to develop life and emotional skills.
It’s incredible to see how students can change over the course of a semester given the appropriate support, curriculum and guidance.
What are you most looking forward to at your new job in Monroe?
I am looking forward to a great support system and educational resources and opportunities to further my passion in education.
