Masuk student charged for allegedly spreading ‘inappropriate’ photo of another student

MONROE, CT — A Masuk High School student turned himself in on a warrant Friday, charging him for his alleged involvement in the spreading of an “inappropriate photograph” of another student.

Julian Krieg, 18, of Monroe, was charged with risk of injury to a child, second-degree breach of peace and dissemination of voyeurism material. He was released on $1,000 bond for a Nov. 23 court date at Bridgeport Superior Court, 172 Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport.

On September 23, 2021, the Monroe Police Department received information from the administrative staff at Masuk High School that an inappropriate picture of a student was being circulated throughout the school.

During an investigation it was determined that Krieg had participated in the dissemination of the inappropriate photograph, according to a news release issued by police Monday.
