MONROE, CT — Organizers of Masuk High School’s Post Prom, an annual party held after prom in a safe environment at the school, still need volunteers to make it happen. The event will be held Friday, April 25, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
“We are asking for your help to ensure this special night will be safe and memorable for the Juniors and Seniors at Masuk,” organizers said on a website for volunteers to sign up. “Prom night is a celebration of years of hard work that includes music, dancing, laughter, good food, and special memories.”
“With your support, we can make this a great night for the teens,” the message continues. “Masuk and Jockey Hollow Middle School students will be offered double community service hours for volunteering and helping during set up hours for decorating only and for clean up on Saturday morning, April 26th. Please bring your community service sheets with you, to be signed off by a Masuk PTC board member.”
