MONROE, CT – Maple Craft Foods of Sandy Hook will donate 30 percent of the sales from the Monroe Playground Foundation’s “Make Life Sweet” fundraiser to The Wolfe’s Den Playground project at Wolfe Park.
The offer for purchases of Maple Craft Foods’ award-winning, local maple products is good through March 18.
“We thank Dave Ackert, founder and chief maple officer at Maple Craft Foods, for supporting our mission and making our community a better place by spreading a little sweetness,” said Michael Ganino, vice chairman of the Monroe Playground Foundation.
The foundation is making a strong push to raise the funding needed for a community build in May. The new playground will be safer, modern and inclusive for all children, replacing the wooden Kids Kreation Playground, which is showing its age.
