Masuk High School students gathered in their school’s main gym to meet with professionals for Career Day Thursday, as students mingled with people from fields, ranging from members of the military and lawyers to engineers.

The event was open to all students, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the fields they could potentially work in.

In interviews, some students said it opened them up to careers they never thought they’d be interested in. For example, one sophomore expressed her new excitement for education, which she said she’d previously never thought about pursuing.
