MONROE, Conn. —Employees of the Henny Penny convenience store on Route 34 told police their store surveillance camera caught juveniles stealing items from a shelf in a complaint filed late Sunday night.
Police are investigating the incident.
An ongoing dispute
A Spinning Wheel Road man was charged in an ongoing neighborhood dispute Saturday afternoon.
Police said the complainant had just finished using a sander, while doing a remodeling job for his parents, when neighbor, Paul Michael Flahive, 56, allegedly screamed obscenities and threats at him.
Flahive denied screaming and making threats, according to the report.
Nevertheless, he was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court on March 30.
A stolen package
A Walnut Street woman reported a package stolen from outside her home Friday night.
She told police she received a notification from Amazon that her package had been delivered at 2:30 p.m., but when she got home at 5:30 p.m., there was no package on her property.
There were no surveillance cameras or witnesses and police officers canvassed the neighborhood, but no one saw or heard anything, according to police.
Police said the contents of the packaged were worth $115.
