Jockey Hollow Track and Field team earns 32 medals at Keller Relays

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Jockey Hollow Track and Field athletes competed in the 23rd Jim Keller Relays at New Fairfield High School Wednesday and won 34 medals in 11 events.

“Prior to every practice and meet, we have a phrase that we recite to our team: ‘Be an amazing person. All day. Every day,” Coach Donald M. Casey Jr. said. “We are extremely proud of every person on our team this year. Students are excellent ambassadors for the town of Monroe. This team is a close-knit family. Students work hard during practice, at meets, and most important of all: in the classroom and community. We had so much fun working with these young people this year. Go Lions!”
