Ages 16 + : We’ll show you how you can use the Cricut Air Explore 2 to seriously upgrade your Valentine’s cards. Learn about searching images, cutting cardstock, and resizing images so they fit on your card perfectly. We’ll have decorations and blank cards so you can see what the Cricut is capable of.

Binky Patrol’s Binkathon, Edith Wheeler Memorial Library

A Binkathon is a fun-filled day where people of all ages gather to make as many blankets as possible to be given to local agencies, shelters, and hospitals. All are invited to attend, but please do not leave young children unattended. Supplies will be available for making fleece tie blankets, but please bring sharp scissors with you. The library will sign off on community service hours for all students. Bring your form if you have one.
Binky Patrol is a national organization dedicated to collect and deliver hand-made blankets to critically ill and traumatized children. The Monroe/Trumbull chapter has been collecting and delivering babies, children, and teens in need of a Binky hug in the Greater Bridgeport and surrounding areas. Donations are appreciated. Cash or checks payable to Binky Patrol, gift cards to Joann Craft, Michael’s, or Walmart, Yarn and fleece (machine washable). Blankets need to be hand-made.
