Beck writes a letter against liberals and for Trump

To The Citizens of Monroe, especially Democrats:

You cannot sit idly by after what Connecticut’s SENATE MAJORITY LEADER, Bob Duff, had the audacity to write and post about Trump and Trump supporters being all Nazis and offending and insulting Jews.

If you’re a Democrat, how can you allow this? Responding with some “well he said” or pointing at something the media manipulated that Trump said is not only childish but nothing more than an excuse to allow this to continue. Yes, at times, Trump has said idiotic and irresponsible things, but NOTHING like this. Even if you’re offended by what Trump has said, this does not make it okay. Have you ever heard, “Two wrongs don’t make it right?” Whatever happened to your hero Michelle Obama’s words about “if they go low, we go high?” Does this constitute going “high?”

Roughly half (perhaps more, depending upon the outcome on Nov 5) of the US population supports Trump and the Republican platform, even if they don’t like Trump’s behavior (count me among those). But, labeling half of the American population “Nazis” while continuing to promote anti-Semitism (which there are COUNTLESS examples of Democrat leaders doing) is BEYOND irresponsible and CANNOT be tolerated by people of good conscience. Yes, Duff has the freedom of speech to say whatever he wants…I have no problem with that…but the freedom of speech does NOT mean the freedom from the consequences of what you said…

Bob Duff has a multitude of Jews living in his district and many more thousands of us living in this state. Many probably even foolishly voted for him, not knowing how he harbors hatred towards them. What about Republicans in this state? Does he feel his responsibility is ONLY to Connecticut’s Democrat population? It’s disgusting!

Before some of you invoke Tony Hinchcliffe’s comments at the Trump MSG rally, let me say that I thought they were offensive and disgusting when I was watching it. The organizers of the event in the Trump campaign should be fired. It was irresponsible not to review what he would say beforehand, which is grounds for firing them by itself, but if they did review his remarks and allowed them, that’s even worse, and they should be fired. The Trump organization has publicly condemned Hinchcliffe’s comments because they were and are terrible. Even as a comedian myself for 25 years, from a comedy standpoint, it wasn’t the right venue for them, and on top of that, they were awful and not funny, even if you like ethnic humor. The act was indefensible. It was highly offensive and inappropriate.

But back to Bob Duff. This cannot be swept under the rug like it was nothing. It is very much a big deal. He’s the SENATE MAJORITY LEADER, for goodness sake. What he wrote and shared was heinous, and this kind of rhetoric needs to be stopped once and for all.

For the record, Trump is NOT a Nazi. Those who support him are NOT Nazis. It’s offensive on multiple levels and purely a desperate measure for Democrats who know that a day of reckoning is coming at the ballot box for their grotesque failures to govern, so they’re invoking that kind of rhetoric in a desperate attempt to try and scare people. It’s incredibly offensive on so many levels that I should not have to justify it with an explanation.

I am calling upon EVERYONE to demand an apology and for him to resign IMMEDIATELY!!!
