MONROE, CT — The owner of a 2015 Maserati left it in his driveway with the doors locked, but the keys were inside an unlocked Cadillac that shared the driveway, according to police. The Pinto Lane resident reported his Maserati stolen on Aug. 20.
Police said the theft occurred sometime overnight. A $1,500 laptop computer inside the Cadillac was also stolen, the report said.
Tree falls on a Honda
A Monroe man escaped injury when a tree fell on his Honda Ridgeline as he drove west on Purdy Hill Road Saturday afternoon.
Police said the driver refused medical attention and called a private towing company for his truck. No wires came down with the tree, according to the report.
