MONROE, CT — Sixties Satisfaction will perform at Wolfe Park this Friday as part of the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department’s 33rd annual Summer Concert Series.
The rock and roll band plays ’60s tunes by great artists of the time. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring a blanket and chairs to enjoy the show with friends and family.
It will be Stock and Rock Night. Parks and Rec. will accept donations of nonperishable food items to stock up the Monroe Food Pantry. Be on the lookout for the box at the park before the show.

Nightshift, a ’60s, ’70s and ’80s cover band, Aug. 6
Still Kickin’ with the Big City Horns, a horn band from East Granby, Aug. 13
AfterShock, a rock and dance band, Aug. 20
The KC Sisters, five sisters ranging from age 17 to 23 sing, play the violin, bass, guitar, piano and drums, Aug. 27.
Mary Beth Sippin and the Goldrush Band, plays a mix of original songs, classic country, swing, acoustic and traditional bluegrass, Sept. 3.
