South West United girls hockey team posts lopsided win

Hannha Newman (No. 11), Amilia Manicke (No. 2) and Cameron Ouellette (No. 15) celebrate a goal. 

After a 2-0 loss to Woodstock Academy at the Sports Center of Connecticut on Jan. 10 and a 3-1 defeat at Conard of West Hartford the next day, the South West United girls’ hockey team blanked Hand of Madison 10-0 in Shelton on Jan. 13.

Grace Douglas, Hannha Hewman, and Lia Spremullo each scored twice. Arianna Bartolomei and Jen Velky combined for the shutout.
