Supper With Santa at the Monroe firehouse on Shelton Road brought families together Friday evening. The evening featured an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner accompanied by the one and only, Santa Claus.
The fire station looked very festive, as it was decorated with sparkling lights, bright red and green ornaments, a tall Christmas tree, and gifts that looked like they were straight out of Santa’s workshop.
Everyone appeared to be in good spirits as children greeted Santa smiling ear to ear, happy for the chance to let him know what they’re hoping to wake up and find under their trees on Christmas morning.
Families and friends munched on sugar cookies and candy canes, while chatting about their holiday plans and upcoming weekends.
The fundraiser, which supports the fire department and its volunteer firefighters, also had several raffles to win gift baskets.
