MONROE, CT — Families showed their appreciation for teachers on Teacher Appreciation Week with parades featuring waving children, balloons, signs and colorful chalk messages scrawled on school driveways.
Adrienne Stepkoski, who organized the events with principals of Jockey Hollow Middle and Stepney and Fawn Hollow elementary schools, shared photos.
Another parade will be held at Monroe Elementary School this Friday.
