STRATFORD, CT — Masuk High’s football team followed up a season-opening 37-point performance in a win over Bunnell with a dominating 58-14 victory at Stratford on Sept. 17.
Quarterback Nick Saccu led the way with five rushing touchdowns. He carried 10 times for 239 yards as part of Masuk’s 345 total yards on the ground.
Ryan Saccu had a rushing and a receiving touchdown, and Jake Dellapiano had a receiving touchdown for Coach Steve Christy’s Panthers.
The Panthers, who defeated Bunnell 37-15, play their third straight road tilt to open the season when they visit Hillhouse on Friday, Sept. 24; kickoff is 7 p.m. Masuk has its home opener on Friday, Oct. 1 when Hand visits for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
