Robert ‘Doug’ Stevens leaves fond memories with family and friends

Robert “Doug” Stevens, a long-time resident of Monroe, recently of Trumbull, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 25, 2025. Born in Concord, N.H., he was the son of Patricia Jewell and Robert Stevens. Doug graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Engineering and earned his MBA from Wagner University. He worked for many years at Westinghouse Electric, including Bryant Electric in Bridgeport. After leaving Westinghouse, Doug pursued consulting and teaching, contributing significantly to professional societies such as the Association of Supply Chain Management (ACM, formerly APICS). Panthers swim to 9th behind 5 record-setting times at State Open

NEW HAVEN, CT — Masuk High’s boys swim team came in ninth among 52 teams in the State Open at Yale on Saturday. The Open consisted of the top swimmers from all class sizes across the state and the Panthers put in quite an effort with five school record-setting swims along the way. In the 200 yard medley relay Masuk took third place in their heat and eighth overall with a time of 1:39:66.  The relay team for this event consisted of Jack McHugh, Carter Adragna, Mason Eannotti and Brendan Kirberger.
