To the Editor,
Prior to becoming Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, I was a commission member that was chaired by Tony Scott. Tony is an excellent leader who was always well prepared and knowledgeable about the problems and issues facing Monroe’s beautiful parks. Under his leadership the town was able to increase the number of Summer concerts that are enjoyed by our citizens.
In addition, he spearheaded the efforts to revitalize the Great Hollow Lake beach area, pushed for the repair and restoration of the town tennis courts and the addition of our new pickleball courts.
Tony’s style of leadership, tenacity to find solutions for problems and the ability to go the extra yard will serve him well as our State Representative. Our citizenry will benefit from having Tony be our voice. Please cast your ballot for Tony Scott this coming Tuesday April 13th.
