Position: Will teach band at Jockey Hollow Middle School, STEM, Fawn Hollow and Stepney elementary schools.
Coming from: Roger Ludlowe Middle School in Fairfield. Prior to that worked for Shelton public schools.
Grew up in: Pittsfield, Mass.
Education: Eared a Bachelor’s degree in music education from Westfield State University; a Master’s degree in music from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and a Sixth Year degree from Sacred Heart University
What do you like most about teaching?
Teaching students the joy and love for music in all different styles, not just what we play in school. It’s a lifelong passion.
What do you most look forward to about teaching in Monroe this fall?
I think I’m just looking forward to working with the kids and, being in so many buildings, I’ll get to meet a lot of different people and continue the district’s tradition of providing excellence in music education.
