Monroe to host a Menorah lighting on Dec. 30

MONROE, CT — Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Connecticut welcomes residents to a Menorah lighting in celebration of Chanukah to be held front of Monroe Town Hall on Monday, Dec. 30, at 6 p.m.

The event will include the lighting of the Menorah, fresh doughnuts and chocolate gelt for guests, a prize for every child, Chanukah music, dreidels and potato latkes.

Other Menorah lightings scheduled in the region include:

Dec. 26, 6, p.m., in front of Stratford Town Hall

Dec. 26, 6 p.m., at the Center Elementary School in East Hampton

Dec. 29, 6 p.m., in front of Easton EMS

Dec. 31, 6 p.m., in front of Trumbull Town Hall
