I’ll be taking some time off, from Sunday to Oct. 20, but will be back and ready to work hard during the lead up to the municipal election.
In the meantime, my friend Kate Ramunni, a longtime journalist who I’ve worked with at five different stops over the years, will keep The Monroe Sun going, reporting, writing and posting stories, checking emails etc.
This is longer than I would normally take off. I just thought I should let you know, so people don’t start seeing another byline for a while and wonder if I’d left for good. In fact, I already look forward to coming back, hopefully energized!
