The game was tied 4-4 going into the bottom of the fifth inning, when Labonte, who went 2-3 with a walk, singled to put the go-ahead run on second base. Two batters later, with one out, Russell executed a suicide squeeze to break the tie.
Moments later, Ginter hit a two-run single before Egan capped off the scoring with a two-out, two-run single to drive in runs 8 and 9 for Fairfield.
Egan, who pitched five innings, also earned the win.
Fairfield United will now play in the championship game against the Mount Pleasant Colonials this Saturday at Rogers Park at 11:15 a.m.
