Monroe GOP announces Lincoln-Reagan Dinner honorees, Carrena event

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Republican Town Committee will hold its annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on Friday, Nov. 1, to honor contributions Republicans have made to the town of Monroe. This year’s honorees are Vida Stone for Republican of the Year, Deborah Heim for the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Vincent Duva for Rising Star.

The event will be held at Testo’s Restaurant, 505 Main St., Monroe, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

Tickets are $125 per person and may be purchased at the door by check or online at this link.

Meet & Greet

A Meet and Greet with Chris Carrena, the Republican candidate for Connecticut’s 22nd Senatorial District, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at The 19th Hole Bar & Grill, 3001 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Light appetizers will be provided.

Carrena is running against Democrat Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox and Independent Party candidate Edward Halstead.
