MONROE, CT — The host Masuk High girls basketball team pulled away early for a 63-23 triumph over visiting Bunnell on Wednesday night. Masuk led 26-9 after one quarter and built a 45-11 halftime lead.
When all was said and done nine Panthers got on the score sheet. Bailey Bajda scored 12, Grace Kearney had 11, Dani Dube 10, and Hannah Fagan and Grace Sheppard both dropped in eight. Charlotte Pinto contributed six, Malenna Hornack four and Addison Brennan and Olivia Garrity had two points apiece.
The Panthers improved to 10-1 and will visit Kolbe Cathedral Friday at 7 p.m.
