Masuk runners compete in cross country championships

BETHEL — Masuk High runners competed in the SWC cross country championships at Bethel High on Oct. 20. 

Ashley Colberg leads Masuk’s female runners in the SWC cross country championships at Bethel High School.

The girls were led by Ashley Colberg who came in 42nd with a time of 23:49.41, Sophia Kellogg who was 55th in 25:25.86, Nora Hurley who finished 59th in 26:28.53, Karlisse Wills who was 62nd in 27:39.83 and Molly Panella who came in 64th with a time of 27:44.67.

Masuk was also represented by Emily Vanderslice (29:46.69) and Anya Rescsanski (30:08.07).

In the boys’ race, Masuk was led by Tyler Kane in 52nd with a time of 20:01.53, and a cluster of runners who finished in places 60 to 65: Michael Majersky (20:45.04), Jackson Radar (20:52.04), Jonathan Ganino (20:53.41), Owen Michael Smith (20:53.85), Ryan Perez (20:55.40) and Keller Hall (21:04.73).
