Aaron Champagne in action during an early season game.

ENFIELD, CT — Masuk High’s football team will be away from Benedict Stadium for a while, so they may as well get comfortable on the road. The Panthers did just that with a convincing 49-6 win at Enfield on Friday night.

Quarterback Aaron Champagne completed 11 of 20 pass attempts for 208 yards and a trio of touchdowns. He also rushed five times for 37 yards.

Shane Walker had six receptions for 122 yards and a pair of TDs. Max Viglione had three catches for 65 yards and a TD to go along with three rushes for 20 yards

Gavin Walker had one catch for 12 yards and 10 carries for 73 and a pair of scores. Nick Fox and Michael Charland also added touchdowns.

Masuk, coming off its home-opening win over Wilton, will not return home until Friday, Oct 25, when Bethel visits at 7 p.m. The next game is Friday, Sep. 27, when Masuk visits New Canaan at 7.
