DANBURY, CT — Masuk High’s hockey team defeated host Joel Barlow-Weston-Abbott Tech co-op 3-1 at Danbury Ice Arena Wednesday. With the win, the Panthers improved to 8-3 this winter.
Nick Kondub scored all three goals and Luke Kondub added a hat-trick worth of assists, setting up each tally. Christian LaBella had two assists and James Cybart had an assist on one of Masuk’s tallies.
Goaltender Maddex LaFountain was in net and made 27 saves.
Masuk returns to the ice Wednesday, Jan. 24, with a visit to Amity at West Haven’s Bennett Rink at 4 p.m.
