MONROE, CT — Masuk High’s girls tennis team concluded the regular season with a 5-2 win at Newtown on May 7 (the final South-West Conference match) and a 6-1 win over Seymour at Wolfe Park on Saturday, May 11.
In the win over Newtown Masuk had the following victories: No. 1 Lexi Goldberg-Friedman 6-1, 6-0; No. 2 Elizabeth Teixeira 6-3, 6-2; No. 4 Olivia Beloblosky 6-3, 6-4. Doubles: No. 2 Prisha Saxena/Karen Rios 6-2, 6-3; No. 3 Maryam Rios/Savanna Cerdrone 7-6, 6-2.
