MONROE, CT — The Masuk High football team, coming off a 7-3 season, has earned the No. 6 seed and will visit No 3 Torrington in the Class MM State Playoffs on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
Torrington’s lone loss was to Naugatuck, the top seed in Class L. Masuk posted wins over Wilton, Enfield, New Canaan, New Milford, Bethel, Pomperaug and Weston.
The winner will face either No. 2 Bristol Central or No. 7 Bunnell of Stratford in the semifinals on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 12:30 p.m.
On the other side of the bracket the quarterfinal matchups are No. 1 Windsor against No. 8 Northwest United and No. 4 Newington taking on No. 5 Wethersfield.
