MONROE, CT — Justin Carriero led the Masuk boys golf team to its fifth straight victory to start the season Tuesday, completing Whitney Farms’ 35 par golf course in 39 strokes. He led all golfers, earning medalist status for the game against Weston High School.
The Panthers beat Weston 169-185.
Masuk’s other top performers included Alex Guigno 42 and Johny McIntyre and Mike Epifano with 44. Colin Abbott finished only one stroke behind his top four scoring teammates, with a 45.
The top scorer for Weston was Sam Landesman with a 43.
