Dear 112th Voters,
I am pleased to submit this letter in support of Nick Kapoor as the Democratic candidate to fill the vacant 112th State Representative seat representing Monroe and the Sandy Hook section of Newtown. I cannot think of a better candidate to represent our District.
Nick’s formidable educational background with degrees in Political Science, Mathematics and his MBA in Finance has been a significant benefit to our community, especially during tight budget times. Nick’s knowledge and experience has benefited our State following his appointment to the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
As a life-long resident, Monroe homeowner, former member of Monroe Town Council and current member of the Board of Education, Nick’s lengthy history of community service and involvement, is unmatched.
Having served with Nick on Town Council, I have seen, first-hand, his commitment to our community. Nick’s experience with budgets in Monroe makes Nick the ideal candidate to serve us in Hartford.
Nick will use his determination, talents, and knowledge of how the legislature works to advocate and produce positive solutions for our 112th and Connecticut.
