To the Editor,
Regarding the upcoming 112th District race. I would like to remind everyone of the current Connecticut legislative make up. The Connecticut House of Representatives has a 97-54 Democratic Majority; and the Senate has a 24-12 Democratic Majority. Also the Executive Branch is currently held by a Democrat.
IMHO a properly functioning system of Government requires it to be balanced, and the current make up of Connecticut State Government at this time is not balanced.
Tony Scott has been a Strong, Fair, and Reasoned voice for all of Monroe, Trumbull, and Easton during his tenure as our State Representative. Tony has a long and proven record of serving all of the constituents he represents fairly and faithfully. Tony is and has been focused solely on local issues that affect us directly, versus a national political narratives.
I urge my fellow Monroe, Trumbull and Easton residents to vote for Tony Scott on election day and support balanced representation in our State Government.
