Townspeople can “leap into Mardi Gras” by attending a cocktail party fundraiser benefitting Project Warmth at the Stone Barn on Feb. 29 from 6 to 10 p.m. Masquerade fun attire is optional.
Project Warmth is a town program helping Monroe families in need of assistance in paying their energy and utility bills.
The event will have hors d’oeuvres, a deejay, an open bar from 6 to 9 p.m. and a cash bar from 9 to 10 p.m.
Tickets cost $75 and can be purchased in the Town Clerk’s Office at Monroe Town Hall, at the Monroe Senior Center or by emailing Jen Aguilar, [email protected], or Kelly Plunkett, [email protected].
Twenty dollars from each ticket will go directly to Project Warmth. There is no snow date and the money is nonrefundable.
