MONROE, CT — Connecticut’s shipment of COVID-19 test kits have not yet left California, so Monroe may not have kits in time to distribute by Thursday afternoon, according to First Selectman Ken Kellogg.
Kellogg said he learned this information after a statewide call with the Gov. Ned Lamont’s office that concluded at 5 p.m. Wednesday evening.
“I share your frustration,” he said in a message to residents. “We expect to get an update from the State late tonight. I will send another message tomorrow morning to advise whether or not our planned distribution must be postponed.”
