Kenneth Wendell Grich, 57, of Brookfield, who was a longtime Monroe resident, passed away unexpectedly at home after a brief illness.
Born in Bridgeport on January 13, 1967, he was the son of the late Charles and Lois (Buchanan) Grich. Kenny was a wonderful, devoted brother, uncle, and a true friend to many. His real joy was being outdoors fishing, kayaking, hunting and hiking.
He is survived by his siblings, sister Nancy Censabella and her husband Pete, his brother Charlie Grich and his wife Lillian, and his sister Karen Armistead and her husband Stanley.
He is also survived by nephews Nicholas, Simon and Andrew; nieces Abigail and her husband Kurtis, Tamera and Dannielle, great nephew Henry, and great niece Ember, as well as a multitude of cousins.
He touched the hearts of so many people.
At Kenny’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to the charity of your choice in Kenny’s name. The family asks that you perform an act of kindness in memory of Ken.
Next time you go fishing, hunting or hiking, think of Ken.
