She was predeceased by her husband of over 52 years, Frank Sr., her parents George and Rose, as well as her sisters Rose and Ann.

Born in Stamford to George and Rose Yanyac on July 5, 1933, Jean went on to graduate Stamford High School in 1951. She worked as secretary for Wagner Pools and was a partial owner of F&J Food Service, Inc. with her husband, Frank Kosakowski Sr. She also had her own ceramic studio and held classes with anyone who was interested in learning the craft.

Jean’s greatest joy, however, was when family and friends would get together and create lifelong memories. Pool parties, barbecues, or just stopping by to say hello would be a must. Putting her together with her sister, Ann, would ultimately bring non-stop laughter both with and at them.

Jean was also passionate for the many pets she had over the years. She will be dearly missed.
