Jane Hanna (Rogowski), age 77, of Monroe, passed away on February 19, 2023 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born on August 21, 1945, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late John and Agatha Rogowski.
Jane had a good heart and never hesitated to lend a hand when needed. She had a love for all animals, especially her dog, Samantha, who brought her so much joy. She was a devoted grandmother and loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob), of 31 years, and her brother Julian Rogowski. She is survived by her son David Hanna of Monroe, her daughter Danielle Cherry and husband Mark of Maryland, her two grandchildren Evan and Hannah Cherry, her sister Marianne Rogowski of Stratford, nieces, nephews, and many friends who felt like family.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Moose Hill Road, Monroe.
