MONROE, CT — The Monroe Sun is launching a new Home section today on its three year anniversary of producing online local news.
Click on the Home banner to visit the section, which will have a variety of stories covering everything to do with the home, from Real Estate and gardening to stories on home repairs and decor.
Today, four new articles appear on the page. Hear from three local Realtors, who weigh in on what homebuyers want and what Monroe has to offer. Check out Lee Riesinger’s home garden, and learn how to attract hummingbirds to your yard from Alma Laumann, a former hummingbird rescuer from Arizona.
Kelly Plunkett, owner of 2nd Chance Restoration, discusses the less expensive options for sprucing up your kitchen cabinets rather than buying new ones.
Each story will be highlighted individually throughout next week, but all can be viewed now in the new Home section.
While I’m not an expert on these topics myself, the hope is to lean on knowledgeable professionals to produce interesting, helpful copy on the home, gardening and Real Estate.
Thank you
Thank you to everyone who visits the website, shares leads for stories and who has made donations.
The Monroe Sun cannot establish itself as Monroe’s long term news source without advertising revenue, and free news for our site’s visitors could not be possible without the support of these local businesses.
I appreciate the Leader Board ads from 574 Wines, Your CBD Store Monroe and L.A. Barnaby & Sons, as well as ads from Sippin Energy and Pony Parts Plus, and from nonprofits like The Center for Family Justice, the Monroe Farmers’ Market and the Monroe Economic Development Commission.
I am happy to welcome NAPA Auto Parts as a new advertiser. Tell them you saw their ad on The Sun to save $5 off purchases of $50 or more.
