MONROE, CT — Due to high heat, the Registrar of Voters Office announced some changes to entrances and rooms being used at the normal polling locations.
Democratic and Republican Primaries will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, All four regular polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.:
District 1: Fawn Hollow Elementary School, 345 Fan Hill Road in the library, park and enter through the main front doors.
District 2: Stepney Elementary School, 180 Old Newtown Road, in the cafeteria, park and enter through doors near side service entrance.
District 3: Monroe Elementary School, 375 Monroe Turnpike, in the gym, normal room location.
District 4: Masuk High School, 1014 Monroe Turnpike, in the cafeteria, park and enter through the main front doors.
