MONROE, CT — Although MoneySmart Week has been officially cancelled due to COVID-19, the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is moving ahead with its previously planned financial programming by presenting it online. Three more events are scheduled to help people understand and manage financial resources.
“In current times, it is more important than ever to provide financial information to our patrons,” said Library Director Lorna Rhyins. “The library is continuing to offer as many programs as possible while the doors to our building are closed.”
- Social Security Explained – Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m.
- Retirement Income Planning – Monday, April 13, at 6 p.m.
- Medicare Basics – Wednesday, April 15, at 6 p.m.
All programs are available via the Zoom video conferencing app and can be accessed through a weblink with an ID and password that can be found on the library’s online calendar.
