MONROE, CT — One of the major power outages caused by Sunday night’s rain and wind storm has been resolved, according to First Selectman Ken Kellogg.
“Eversource has reported that crews are still working at the second major event affecting the Stevenson area of town,” he said in an email just after 2:30 p.m. Monday. “This outage was originally targeted for completion by noon today, but proved more complicated and is now targeted for 6 p.m. tonight. We have been advised that the global estimated restoration time — including all smaller remaining outages — is tomorrow at 11:45 p.m.”
