MONROE, CT — The Wolfe’s Den Playground will bring joy to children when the project to replace the Kids Kreation Playground at Wolfe Park is complete, but why should kids have all the fun?
The Monroe Playground Foundation is hosting Fire & Ice, an elegant cocktail party, at The Waterview on Feb. 26. With the community build just around the corner, the fundraiser is being promoted as “A Night to Celebrate.”
“We expect about 300 people,” said Mike Ganino. “It’s an evening of dancing, food and fun.”
Specialty drinks will be served in the fire and ice theme and there will be hors d’oeuvres, food stations, a carving station and an open bar. Music will be provided by JMG Music and Entertainment and the event will include silent and live auctions.
Dress attire is “Fire & Ice formal and festive cocktailware.”
Tickets are $125 per person and can be bought by clicking here. RSVP by Feb. 15.
